Overview

Nestled near the iconic Eiffel Tower at 63 Av. de la Bourdonnais, Vietnam Food offers a genuine Vietnamese dining experience in the heart of Paris. This unassuming gem serves traditional dishes crafted with care and authenticity, truly capturing the essence of Vietnamese home cooking.

The restaurant’s intimate space reflects its family-run spirit, with a chef and a single waitress managing the entire operation. This small scale fosters a warm, personalized atmosphere, where guests are treated more like friends than customers. Expect a quiet, cozy setting that invites slow savoring rather than rushed meals—perfect for those seeking a comforting and genuine culinary escape.

The menu is a thoughtful curation of Vietnamese classics, highlighted by standout dishes such as Pho, the fragrant rice noodle soup simmered to perfection. The Bo Bun, a refreshing dish of marinated beef or chicken atop vermicelli, garnished with crunchy peanuts and fresh herbs, is another house favorite. For those who prefer lighter bites, the vegan spring rolls filled with tofu also shine, offering a delicate balance of texture and flavor.

Beyond the typical offerings, Vietnam Food honors time-honored family recipes such as the slow-cooked Bo Kho Gung, a spiced beef stew that evokes slow-simmered warmth, and the Ga Ca Ri, a chicken thigh braised in aromatic five-spice curry. These dishes reveal the chef’s deep respect for heritage, transforming simple ingredients into layered, soulful plates.

What sets Vietnam Food apart is not just the quality of its ingredients but the evident passion behind each dish. The chef’s commitment to sourcing premium produce resonates in every bite—rich broths, tender meats, and crisp fresh herbs reflect an unwavering dedication. Patrons note the elevated flavors rivaling meals crafted at home with care and superior components.

Service here complements the culinary experience perfectly, characterized by attentiveness and genuine warmth. The staff’s fluency in English and their willingness to guide diners through the menu ensure that each visit feels both welcoming and informative. Our group of four people were craving Asian food on Sunday. This restaurant was one of the few that was open near the Eiffel Tower. We got there early at around 7:30pm. We were happy to see the well fed black cat in the restaurant. We ordered one pho and one chicken leg rice plate with an appetizer to share. About twenty minutes after we sat down the chef hurried back with a big shopping bag. All three dishes were amazing that we had to order another pho. At first I thought they is one of the most expensive pho I have ever had. It is about double the price than your average pho restaurant. If you eat quality food regularly, you can taste the difference. The chef really cares about his ingredients and he charges on par with when I buy quality ingredients to make at home. This is a very small shop and the chef and his one waitress does all the work. Expect a wait. Don’t come here if you have other plans after. Come here to enjoy food and think of it as a private chef experience. Thank you chef. I enjoyed my dinner very much.

Oh my goodness, this is hands down the best Vietnamese food I’ve ever had! And trust me, I’ve been to quite a few countries, both in Europe and Asia — but this place is just next level. I ordered the Goi Cuon, and it was beautifully presented with a delicate, refreshing aroma. The flavors were absolutely spot on. My friends ordered Pho and chicken rice, and they both loved their dishes too. For starters, we shared some spring rolls, and they were just as amazing. On top of that, the waitress who served us spoke excellent English and was super attentive and sweet. Such a wonderful experience — can’t recommend this place enough!

if you’re in the city, this restaurant is THE BEST Vietnamese food. The chef is so genuine and offered us desserts on the house when we came back the second time. The pho is full of flavors and the portion is perfect. The Goi Cuon, the Salad and Bun Bo was perfectly flavored. Thank you for an amazing atmosphere and delicious food.

We found Vietnam Food on a recent trip to Paris. It is a quaint and amazingly friendly restaurant where the owner chef and staff was ready to greet and assist. The chef explained to us that the recipes were 80 year old family dishes and guided us on the best favorites of the house. They did not disappoint! Each dish was prepared with attention and care. The flavors were incredible and bursting with color while delighting the senses. The service was impeccable, friendly and helpful. The setting was modern yet warm with its surroundings. We visit Paris regularly for work and inspiration, and will most definitely be visiting Vietnam Food again and again as a staple in the city. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

My husband and I love this restaurant. We’ve been living in Paris for 3 months and this is one of our favorite restaurants. The staff and chef are so kind and thoughtful, very attentive to their customers. The chef speaks to every person who comes in. He is so passionate about his food and it shows in the quality of it. My husband and I always get the pho and pork bo bun so we can enjoy some of each. This has been the best Vietnamese food we’ve ever had. We were lucky to compare the chef’s mom’s bo bun recipe to his new one. Both are divine but his new recipe is incredible - I wish I could describe the flavor but I can’t do it justice so you just have to try it for yourself.
